JOEL NAEGELE welcomed as our new musical director.
Kansas native Joel Naegele, a twenty-year music educator currently teaching in Parker is now the Memories Band’s new musical director. A trombonist, who was for seven years the Performing Arts Department Chairman at Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, he holds degrees from Kansas State and the University of Missouri and has taught in Kansas, Oklahoma, Oregon and Colorado. As a model railroad enthusiast he’s tuned into tiny details, acquainted with hours of meticulous craftsmanship and has the patience of an engineer on a long haul, all qualities transferable to musical ensembles in need of fine tuning. We’re very excited to have Joel at the throttle and look forward to many hours of highballing through the Great American Songbook in Pullman style.
